Can I ask one more dumb question, though? I have looked through all the old emails and posts on here and I can only find links to the 2017 VM. No rush, but when you have a moment, could someone post a link the 2020 VM? I am sure it's in some old email I saved. But I can't find it. Thanks! Steve |

Thank you, I used the link I found from SEAphages.org since I always lose the ones in my emails. It's the 2017 version. That's likely my error. Steve |

Good afternoon, After so many years of the VM working flawlessly for me, it was bound to be my turn. To avoid pestering Christian, I simply started fresh with a new VM download and install and followed the instructions on how to make the changes to the new pipeline following his video. Only - I don't have a "Validation" folder as expected this time. Huh. That means there is nowhere to put the newer config file and no way to check files. Any idea what I could have done wrong? |

I have noticed that students and TAs with newer devices are running into problems downloading, even if I put it in a Google Drive, or running it if they can. They get error messages, sometimes that it is infected with a virus, sometimes others. I am no computer science person, but is it possible that the software of newer computers has moved past an older program and is causing problems that is going to get worse and worse? If so, do we have any ideas of how to proceed if we loose DNA Master? Steve |

My computer is about to be reformatted, as it happens, which means I am about to loose DNAM. Any chance someone could send me a copy of DNAM or something? I kind'a need a working copy desperately. Steve |

Can I ask a dumb question? I have students who are trying to download this for their PCs now and can't on any browser. And not for a virtual machine. Is it simply not possible to access DNA Master anymore without significant effort? Steve |

I was just QC'ing TunaTartare, a BK1, and came across this thread as it was growing. I was about to chime in that TT has the CCCAAAT, but Chris just beat me to it. And with a lot more as well! Steve |

Chris, Excellent. And thank you for the very clear directions with sample. Worked perfectly. Steve |
