Hi
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a place/lab to send our samples for electron microscopy? We haven't been successful in finding a resource yet.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Sangha

I was having trouble with installing DNA Master and then came across these posts! I will follow your lead to get it back up and running. I had uninstalled it as I was not able to get any BLAST results.

Purgamenstris is now an N cluster phage see:

http://phagesdb.org/phages/Purgamenstris/

Sorry, it is indeed a Cluster N phage but is not in Phamerator

Hi
I might have missed seeing this, but are some L4 phages like Purgamenstris missing from the database?
Thanks
Sangha

Hi
I was checking a student's annotation for Bigswole, a C1 phage and noticed that it has a large number of tRNAS. However Among the tRNA genes, there is a long ORF OF 1253 bp (DNAM 273) , and one of 425 bp (DNAM 278 ) in between all of them. Is that valid?

I am attaching the file here, which have a few genes that are annotated.
Would appreciate some feedback.
Thank you
Sangha

Hello
Sorry to bother you again. I have been trying to run Starterator for Kerberos but it seems to stall after Pham 61.
Can you please check?
Many thanks
Sangha
