This semester we annotated the genome of Bactobuster, a sub-cluster A2 member isolated by members of the in situ course during the Fall 2014 semester. During the Spring 2015 semester, the students in the in silico course became proficient using DNA Master, GeneMark/Glimmer, Phamerator, Starterator, BLAST, HHPred, etc.
