It did get taken down due to a technical issue. Although it might resurface eventually, that certainly won't happen in time for Fall 2019. |

Julia Lee I restarted Phamerator on the server this afternoon because of a problem someone else was having, and that resolved it for them. With any luck, this fixed the issue for you as well. |

Hi Andrea, I have updated Phamerator.org and it should now match what you see on PhagesDB.org. You might need to reload the site in order to see the change. Best, Steve |

Hi Dana, Yes, the app has been completely rewritten. We pulled the old versions from the store because an update to Google Maps meant that we could no longer use their service in the way we had been. We are attempting to submit a new version today for both Android and iOS. The Android process is quick, but it can take several days for Apple to post the app update on their store. I'll post again here once the updates are live. If your students are collecting samples in the meantime, you might just want to ask them to record the location of their samples for later entry into the app. Best, Steve d.zambito |

This took a bit longer due to some VERY slow shipping on a piece of network equipment. Nevertheless, the work is now complete. |

Hi everyone, In order to provide a more robust and scalable phamerator.org, we are performing a major upgrade on our server equipment. Please expect intermittent downtime through the end of the week. I'll post an update here when the work is complete. Thanks for your patience. Steve |

Hi Jordan, You're right, we've been having some intermittent trouble with the app this year, mostly on the server side but it manifests as not being able to load the map. My students and I are working on the problem and hope to have a substantially improved version in place for next year. Thanks for your patience with it. Best, Steve |

Like Jordan, I've had the problem even with single gene BLAST submissions. S. |

You can also do this in Phamerator: 1. Click "Phages" 2. Highlight your phage in the list 3. From the File menu, "Export Proteins (fasta)" |
