scresawn	kbutela Phamerator is currently down for me and my students as of Thursday 6/1 at 2:30 pm. We just upgraded internet security services, so it's entirely possible that the site is blocked on campus wifi. Is anyone else having trouble? Good morning. Phamerator.org is up and running. We did have a two moments of downtime (~5 min) on Friday and Saturday due to performing software upgrades, but no downtime yesterday or today.

Good morning,

Is Phamerator down? I was working with it on Saturday, but on Sunday morning I was unable to access the site. When I try to access Phamerator, it doesn't load and times out on me. I've tried different browsers and rebooting my modem with no success. Please advise.

I’ll try to resolve it soon but in the meantime, you can click to the right of the (sub)cluster name to expand it, and then slowly select the phages one at a time. Hey Steve,
Is there a problem with Phamerator? I am getting a perpetual spinning wheel when it tries to draw a map. This happens after clicking on the Cluster–I don't even get a list of phages in the cluster.

Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Someone, please help I am trying to finish up an already late annotation (lol, sorry)

I was chatting with the tech help desk at pitt. The tech expert walked me through several things. He suspected that the problem has something to do with my home wifi. But he wasn't able to solve the problem in the end after all the attempts. I saved a copy of our chat, which is attached to this post for your reference.
So I decided to try Phamerator one more time before going to bed, and it's working! I'm very glad that it's working for me now. But I really don't know how the problem is fixed.
