The Florida SEA-PHAGES Symposium was held on the campus of Florida International University on April 21. Five SEA-PHAGES schools from the area, which include Florida International University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Indian River State College, University of South Florida, and Hillsborough Community College attended the meeting. Meeting attendees discussed their research in oral and poster presentation sessions, and enjoyed a keynote presentation by Dr. Welkin Pope.
