Spec a C1 phage gene 115, start 65315-66115 has a strong match in HHPred to a parB family protein and to a ParB-like nuclease domain, but I noticed that function has been crossed out of the official function's list. The only option is that is a ParB-like dsDNA partitioning protein but only if it has the parA partner in the genome, correct? |

Noe, look at line 65 in the approved function list (directly below the crossed out item). that hit is called a nuclease domain in the databases we use, but there is no nuclease function to that sequence. it is now named "ParB N-terminal-like domain" debbie |
