DNA Master / Z values missing

I have downloaded and installed DNA Master on two different PC's. Yes, as an admin. Yes, updated. The Z values are missing! Can someone please explain to me why and how to fix this problem? Please see the attached screen shot. THANK YOU Frankie |

We are having the same problem on some of the computers. You'll also notice two other things in the picture. The genes in the ORF analysis tool don't have numbers above them (like 1, 2, etc) and if you look in the features table, it has start and stop instead of 5' and 3'. All three of these issues. The problem seems to be fixed by following this information from the Lawrence Lab download page. Although to be honest, it doesn't allows fix all of the issues. We have had a lot of issues with DNA master being really buggy on some computers. Slip-stream update: The current version of DNA Master is atleast 2249. If you have an earlier version, and it cannot update itself any longer, that reflects a bug in the FTp subsystem. That bug has been repaired. You will need to downlaod this slip-stream update and unzip it to your DNA master installation directory. After that, the program should be able to update itself once again. |
