Pham 36129 report not found in Starterator

| posted 26 Sep, 2020 19:06
Hello,

Students in our group are unable to access the Starterator report for Pham 36129 (https://phagesdb.org/phams/36129/) and are getting a 404 error. Sure enough, it seems like the report is missing (http://phages.wustl.edu/starterator/Pham36129Report.pdf). Is there any reason why this may be, or any workaround for the issue?

Thanks,

Michael

EDIT: Seems like Pham 37297 has the same issue (https://phagesdb.org/phams/37297/). Perhaps others in our phage Blizzard's genome as well, just yet to be determined.

Hi Michael and all,
Phamerator is undergoing a rather big update this weekend. It will take a bit of time for the remaining databases to catch up. This forum explains.

Thanks Debbie, I will pass this message along. Hopefully next week things will be back to normal.

Cheers,

Hi all,
When Starterator posts a note that "Report not found", the most likely explanation is that it is updating. Please first wait a bit before asking for help. (Typical updating time is ~4 hours.)
In addition, servers, like Chrome, are starting to deny/limit access to http sites. Chris Shaffer will be getting starterator on an https site soon. In the meantime try a different server.

We have now updated the Starterator servers to support the https: protocol so users should no longer get the "Not found" error due to this particular reason.

Also as a reminder, you may want to download the whole phage report. See this thread in the forum: https://seaphages.org/forums/topic/5752/ for details. Or just go here to find the all the folders with the report for all phage posted in 2025: https://wustl.box.com/v/Actino-phage
