Dr.Crossley has over 20 years experience in studying molecular and microbiology. She obtained her PhD in molecular biology from The University of Southern Mississippi. She has taught and conducted research at Alcorn State University and Louisiana State University at Alexandria. Her research specialty topics include gene regulation and dimorphism. She has been studying the dimorphic pathogenic fungi Histoplasma capsulatum for over 20 years.
