We wanted to pass along the following opportunity that recently came to our attention. If you know of any SEA-PHAGES alumni who are finishing up graduate degrees and still have an interest in Mycobacteria, please let them know!
From Dr. Roy Curtiss III:
Josephine Clark-Curtiss and I are relocating our lab groups to the University of Florida this May-June and are seeking to recruit multiple postdoctoral scholars. Josie will be in the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine and will have her primary research labs in the Emerging Pathogens Institute along with other mycobacterial researchers, and I will be in the Department of Infectious Diseases and Pathology in the College of Veterinary Medicine. We will share BSL-3 labs and ABSL-3 facilities in the central animal facility at the Heath Science Center and will be collaborating with new colleagues in the Colleges of Agriculture, Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Public Health and Arts & Sciences. We attach an ad for these postdoctoral scholar positions and hope you will pass on this information to any soon-to-graduate or just-graduating graduate students who might enjoy joining our research family. Thank you and best regards.
