capsid fusion

The major capsid protein, scaffolding protein, and capsid maturation protein are fused into a single protein and encoded by a single gene.

How should we label this? It looks like most have called it as "capsid and capsid maturation protease"…would you like us to continue using that notation?

I have called this gene "major capsid and protease fusion protein" for my AU2 phage Giantsbane, since it was an acceptable function for AN arthrobacter phages (though AU phages are not listed in the official function list for this call).

How should we label this? It looks like most have called it as "capsid and capsid maturation protease"…would you like us to continue using that notation?

We are working with Cluster AU phage ScienceWizSam and AreFloNak. They both seem like they have this fusion protein. Other close matches are calling it capsid and capsid maturation proteases. Are we still following this format?
