what on earth is this thing (TEM)

TEM image attached of one of our problem children this semester. In this view, it looks like there are a bunch of destroyed capsids (which tracks, this phage has been a challenge to keep alive) and possibly one intact, very round capsid against a field of ribosomes… but if so, the capsid is TINY. Is this even a phage?

Host is Arthrobacter globiformis B-2979.

Not sure what is in the picture is the phage, but I think I see similar structures in these micrographs.
