ParB-like nuclease domain

| posted yesterday, 22:05
Spec a C1 phage gene 115, start 65315-66115 has a strong match in HHPred to a parB family protein and to a ParB-like nuclease domain, but I noticed that function has been crossed out of the official function's list. The only option is that is a ParB-like dsDNA partitioning protein but only if it has the parA partner in the genome, correct?

Noe, look at line 65 in the approved function list (directly below the crossed out item). that hit is called a nuclease domain in the databases we use, but there is no nuclease function to that sequence.
it is now named "ParB N-terminal-like domain"
