Apply to Join GENES
Currently, applications are accepted on an annual basis. Each year, 5-8 schools that are offering the PHAGES project are accepted to expand the SEA research at their institutions by offering the GENES project.
We are currently accepting applications for SEA schools to begin implementing the GENES project in the 2026-2027 academic year. The program announcement with more information can be found at the link below. SEA faculty can submit a completed application form and program and application questions to Program Officer Danielle Heller at sea@hhmi.org.
