We have identified the genes involved in the frame shift for RitaG but there are discrepancies within the middle of the gene product that do not correspond with other Phages it matches up with. We realize typically the discrepancies show where the frame shift is but it is not present within the six frame. What should we do? We were looking at the draft foe Ading and we noticed that there are a lot of genes missing from the original DNA master blast. For instance we are missing 12 genes between 175 and 188, just wondering why this is and how we can get them added. |

Is Web Phamerator up and running yet? I am filling out a request for our IT now so our class will be ready to go in January? If not, have there been updates to Phamerator or is last year's version OK? Our students access it through a virtual machine and Phamerator is stored on the University C-drive so they don't each have to download it. Thanks, Nancy |

Hi Chris, I've heard such wonderful things about you! We're having a Starterator problem with phage LouisV14. We get to Pham 17 of 64 and it hangs. I've tried several times. We did get our Starterator report for RitaG, first time. LouisV14 is in Phamerator. Any hints what we might try? Thanks, Nancy Jones |
