Assistant Professor

Biology

I am very excited to be involved with the SeaPhages program! I am a recent graduate of Stanford University's Biochemistry Department. My dissertation involved looking at evolutionary and mechanistic relationships in a superfamily of phosphoryl transfer enzymes. I was trained as an enzymologist, but also have experience in microbiology. I hope to use my experiences to inspire my students to make meaningful contributions to the SeaPhage Program and to pursue a career in the sciences.
