My research is primarily in underwater caves and Springs. We study the Hydrology, geochemistry and microbial ecology in these unique ecosystems. My earlier work was in the molecular phylogenetics of the invertebrates and I was involved in the discoveries of Lophotrochozoa and Ecdysozoa.
