Factors Influencing Arthrobacter sp. growth and Arthrobacteriophage Isolation and Characterization
Ilzat Ali, Priscilla Kobi, Tamarah Adair, Viknesh Sivanathan

Arthrobacter sp. is one of several Actinobacteria being used for the isolation of novel bacteriophages in the SEA-PHAGES program. Here, we tested various factors that influence bacterial growth, phage isolation, phage amplification, and DNA extraction, for Arthrobacter sp.[ATCC 21022] and arthrobacteriophages.
